The McEniry Family Foundation was established in 2023 for the sole purpose of improving lives and supporting nonprofits through charitable grants and contributions. With a desire to make a positive impact in communities across the country, we’re devoted to lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed.

FAQs


The McEniry Family Foundation supports general charitable activities. The foundation is open to providing grants wherever needed most by the non-profits it supports.


The following types of support are considered:

  • General/Operating 
  • Program Support
  • Scholarship Funds
  • Capital Campaigns

The Trustees of the McEniry Family Foundation have chosen to be proactive in their giving and therefore, applications are accepted by invitation only.


The foundation will consider all qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not awarded to individuals.


The foundation will award grants four times per year with quarterly deadlines as follows:

  • March 31
  • June 30
  • September 30
  • December 31

As grant requests are by invitation only, applicants will be advised on which deadline to apply for.

Organizations will be notified of funding decisions following the deadlines.

Grant recipients are required to submit a report on fund expenditures and a final project evaluation.
